G-Health Consult MCA Training School is a pharmaceutical service provider in the city of Kumasi, Ghana offering training for shop assistants in the pharmacy. It was started in July, 2004 and has since churned out many excellent certified shop assistants for pharmacies. Our mission is to improve health care delivery by upgrading and building the capacity of frontline staff in the discharge of their duties.
Our students are tutored by resource persons who are mostly pharmacists, passionate about improving the image of the pharmacy profession. The course duration is 12 months (1 year), split into two (2) semesters. The first semester is 7 months (5 months for theory and 2 months of practical attachment). The second semester lasts 5 months (3 months for theory and 2 months of practical attachment).
Besides training, we also provide recruitment and placement services for shop assistants and trainees. For pharmacy owners looking for a shop assistant for your facility, we have a continually updated database of qualified shop assistants to choose from, depending on the qualifications required. All personnel recommended by us come with updated skills from our workshops in order to take your facility to a higher level.
Objectives
1. To create a vocation for school leavers in the health care delivery system
2. To build the capacity of frontline staff in the discharge of their duties, enabling the pharmacist / proprietor to concentrate on their managerial duties
