Certification
It is mandatory for all shop assistants working in the Pharmacy to undergo training in order to maintain high standards in the Pharmacy industry. At G-health Consult MCA Training School due to our rigorous and in-depth teaching and continuous assessment style, our students are able to easily adjust into the market place and prove themselves. The course duration is 12 months (1 year), split into two (2) semesters. The first semester is 7 months (5 months for theory and 2 months of practical attachment). The second semester lasts 5 months (3 months for theory and 2 months of practical attachment).
For already certified shop assistants, we offer continuous education workshops twice a year to sharpen one’s skills and keep one relevant in the market place. A shop assistant is required to attend one workshop in a year, where certificate of participation is awarded. We will update you on our website on the times and dates for the continuous education workshops so you can apply.
Please note that final exams organized by the Pharmacy Council are held twice a year, in June and December.
